Resolutions And Such

I'm back. Of course, I was never away, I just needed a break. Not from blogging, obviously. There's nothing stressful or hurtful from my relationship with Blogger that would require me to take time off.

But I was going through final exams, and the holidays, and shuttling between LA and San Diego, as always. And a few unpleasant things happened between now and then, and a few unpleasant moments that finally passed.

I'm bluer these days than I have been in a long while. I don't know if it's the loneliness finally getting to me. What is loneliness, anyway, but a state of mind? The presence of people is almost insignificant to the inquiry.

One of the things I most enjoyed about the holidays were the 007 Days of Christmas on Spike TV. I look forward to it every year, even when I know that it's TNN/Spike TV's auto-pilot marathon so the whole office can go on vacation. After too many parties, too many friends, too many obligations, too many cold nights, the only feeling I can muster up right now is that I miss James Bond.

And I'm glad that Carrie Bradshaw's back.
