OK Then
Today, I decided that I am out of my funk. Things are OK. Things are better than OK.
Reyna and I had lunch today at a neat place -- the Lemon Moon Cafe on Olympic. At the next table was design guru Christopher Lowell. You'll remember our chipper friend from his show on the Discovery Channel. Anyway, the Skirt Steak Salad at Lemon Moon is excellent. They also make a mean cappuccino.
Also on your list: try Joan's on Third. That's 3rd St., as in next to Beverly Center. I found a lot of neat delicacies and even picked up some finocchiona for the road. What you should try are just the cupcakes and the Danesi espresso. The whole place is very New York; think Bleeker Street or the Magnolia Bakery.
I'm going to do a run-through for a game show tomorrow. Should be interesting. All this while waiting for the suits to call.
